longer fitting ocbd

I am looking for a OCBD (or similar) that is long enough to tuck in. I am 6’3 and wear OCBD a lot that look fine untucked but when i tuck them they don’t stay tucked, in large part bc they are not long enough. Most are j crew xl slim. I need the xl for length but the collar is too large I have several dress shirts that stay tucked bc they are much longer (i could never wear untucked) and are made of thinner material. I am looking for a shirt that is long like a dress shirt, has button down collar and more casual styling of an ocbd, and i can buy by collar size (eg 15.5) rather than M/L/XL. Thinner material than an ocbd would be great too but not a deal breaker.

Try Drake's or Spier. I have oxfords from both and they're definitely long enough for tucking in.

As skinny a 6'4 guy I feel your pain. Kamakura's New York cut comes to mind though I've yet to try it personally. But if you're really looking for a button down collar with thinner dress shirt material and your measurements it might be easier to try MTM.

I have a Kamakura on 15.5 that is plenty long enough for me to tuck in at 6'2.

Maybe try buying from brands that have neck and sleeve sizing rather than alpha sizing? Polo, Spier, Brooks Brothers, etc. You're probably a 15.5/35 or 36.

In addition to what @GSH said, J. Crew and Banana Republic both sell oxfords in tall sizes It's never been super active, but /r/tallfashionadvice has some guides for brands with tall sizes. At 6'3" you don't have to buy exclusively tall sizes but you should know what your options are

Your trouser rise also affects how well something will stay tucked - if you're wearing lower rise pants you could consider trying a combo longer shirt/higher rise

Thanks all! My pants are mid rise but i do want so high rise which would definitely help. I will try some recommended brands. Also, oddly i cannot get proper cloth shirts dialed in. Even after two remakes i still have some wonky areas One issue with Spier McKay is they never have shirts in my size and it is kind of annoying to check. Is this a common issue there? Oh wait. Just figured out how to filter by size. They have one shirt in my size and its hideous 😆

Im not sure what your budget is but proper cloth has custom fit OCBD options starting at $95 USD. I feel your pain as a lanky 6’6” and have had great experiences with them

What’s your size? Also with Spier you basically have to get shirts as they drop, or just see if there’s anything on sale. There’s no restocking at all, just full price or taking the chance
