ZHello, we are doing a research to start using R2 instead of S3, but faced an issue with pre signed urls, r2 is providing a way to generate a signed urls but it can't be accessed with custom domain and the cache will be meaningless while using the R2 pre-signed url, well in the documentation they mentioned this and the other solution will be using hmac, is there anyone used it before and have an idea about the result? thanks
KGo in and delete all files, then delete the bucket.
KAll the files have to be deleted. The easiest way is to set a lifecycle policy that will destroy all of your files and then wait 24 hours

Zanyone have experience with quickwit, and how heavy it is on s3 operations? im considering r2 + quickwit to store hundreds of millions of tiny documents for searching

RFor event notifications from R2, they apparently go through workers and queues but can the worker then push the notification to an AWS process?
NHi, I recently opened an R2 and I have a question.... Why the A and B class operations increased without doing anything? I have not used R2 yet.
Rtrying to setup event notifications - tutorial is excellent and everything works right up until the last config step where i actually setup the notification - it then gives me workers.api.error.bucket_not_found [code: 10085]. The bucket exists and the name is correct. My bucket, however, is in EU. Could this be the reason it can't find the bucket? ---Just tested with a bucket not in EU and it worked - assume this is a bug

RDo you mean jurisdictions globally are still in beta? So, technically, an EU based R2 bucket is in beta? Also, you mention the UI, but I was doing this via Wrangler CLI.
CThe jurisdiction feature itself is, being able to create a bucket specifically tied to EU. I know some other parts of the UI/etc don't work with jurisdiction buckets either.
If this was via wrangler, I would make a issue for it on the workers-sdk github to make sure they're aware

R@Chaika I want to be able to send my event notifications to AWS Lambda for now as I have more experience there. Do you happen to have any links to tutorials on how to do that?
CI haven't played around with r2 event notifs yet, but iirc they just use a normal Queue.

You could have a queue customer worker which fetches your lambda and passes the info, or you could even use the HTTP Pull API to have the lambda pull the queue
