Tyes. it won't break things dramatically for the most part in most cases

TI've done the swap more than one reasonably should. unless you really know where to look, you'll find some lingering elements after rebasing

GUlimit tweaks and managing the $PATH should be enough
GYou'll need to add a check for the interactive shell
GIf it is, add brew to $PATH, and make sure to append it, not prepend
