Hi @everyone, It’s Sunday so you know what that means! At 15:00 GMT @Umesh Lokhande will be presenting in another Engineering Hour session where we’ll focus on building a web server on an ESP32 microcontroller! Join us here at 15:00 GMT:
Make sure you complete server verification before the event so you are able to join the stream channel and chat. You can complete verification here: ▶-verification-◀
Come with questions and paste them in the EH chat, which you can access in the upper right of the stage channel (pic to come)
DM @techielew or @Phoenix if you are having trouble or need help.
Have fun and get ready to design, learn, and collab!
People at Embedded Open Source Summit in Seattle this week? Tuesday I'll present about CoAP at the Zephyr Developer Summit if anyone is interested in this
Check out BeagleBoard.org. Their newer platforms run on Zephyr, like BeaglePlay. If you’re interested in collab’ing, let’s talk. I could probably get one for you. Are you just looking for anything to get you started with Zephyr?
STM has an initiative called STM32duino In STM32 world, you could also try the alternative approach of using CubeMX to configure the required peripherals to do what is needed. But you need to study the Arduino code and libraries and also the STM32 peripherals. The conversion is not that simple. I think you need to recode the program manually.
The advent of user-friendly Integrated Development Environments (IDEs) marks a pivotal shift towards more accessible and efficient development workflows. At Embedded World 2024, we interviewed Embeetle IDE, showcasing their contributions to this transformative journey.

Hey @FESHØ thanks for joining and welcome. Drop your tech related discussion here or in the forums. If you haven’t already, drop a bit about yourself in the welcome channel.
Firmware developers always want to hit the "easy button", especially when debugging large professional development projects. A common way of achieving this is by using the serial terminal rather than leveraging professional debuggers.
But as codebases grow and firmware becomes more complex, these shortcuts can quickly become huge time sucks, an...
Visibility - is the single most important benefit of utilizing IoT capabilities for business stakeholders.
Connected devices provide real-time visibility into technical and business processes. This constant stream of data is crucial for enterprises as it enables operations optimization during subsequent stages.
Additionally, IoT data acquired from connected products enables businesses to understand customer behavior, preferences, and trends - essential knowledge for tailoring marketing strategies and improving customer engagement.
Naturally, IoT provides a wealth of other business gains, like asset monitoring, but all of them are delivered from increased visibility.
What would be the second most important benefit of utilizing IoT for business?
