DI reported this but was just wondering if anyone else experienced it: my mouse is unresponsive in the latest snapshot unless I run it in wireless mode
DIf it's plugged in as I usually have it, I can't move the cursor at all
KI tested that with a couple of my mice, I have a wireless only Logitech and then a wired razor

Dyea, only works for ethernet as a result, its why i can't do this for the steam deck. On the steam deck i only use fido2 and nothing else
MWiFi is possible, but you have locally build initramfs and add the drivers and the creds for the connection
Di did toy with the idea of using tpm2, but without secure boot state, it didn't seem too practical, there's also a few quirks with the way rpm-ostree that results in tpm2 not being as effective, you'd have to redo it on every update essentially if you want it to be absolutely secure

Di figured out that if bazzite installer would setup wifi and would preserve the wifi settings the same way the OG fedora installer does it, it could work (since i think that installers sets up WPA supplicant) but it was getting too much into the weeds and idk enough yet

MYou should be able to generate keys for SB state on steam deck. sbctl is pretty handy for this.
Mtpm2 has been my default for awhile since it is good enough. I fall back to tang if tpm is not available

Dthere was a tutorial online that i read through, but quickly figured out that it was just meant for installing windows 11, and the secure boot setup looked janky as heck, sbctl was used to set it up, then during the windows 11 installation secure boot was magically enabled and i was left thinking "so how do you turn it off?" that was part was not clear and decided not to go through with it
Di like having the option of being able to turn it off, and removing/adding my own keys through the BIOS menu, in case i lose the ability to boot into any OS

Dim talking strictly on the steam deck though, i would add tpm2 to my desktop PC, but the current setup i have with clevis/tang just works, turn on my encrypted tang server VM, and then i can just turn on my HTPC/Desktop on and off as I please. Someone steals my stuff, good luck getting to my data

KIf I set it to 3600on my sister's bios it crashes. I even tried updating it to the newest version I could find online

Dwhat's the specific motherboard? a quick google search i see most people use 3200MHz on that chipset, want to check if that motherboard does support 3600MHz
