I was excited to move to Fedora 40 on the testing tag to get updated mesa for NVK goodness because of this blog post: https://www.collabora.com/news-and-blog/news-and-events/nvk-is-now-ready-for-prime-time.html

Specifically the Vulkan 1.3 support which AFAIK should make DXVK / Proton work.

However what it says is

I basically saw Mesa 24 builds and got excited but latest is 24.0.x NOT 24.1

In any case the testing branch is working fine for me except for the sunshine package issue and the kernel-ba thing. It also lost my desktop background in Gnome somehow and I ended up with just a plain blue one

Also not having horrible grahpical glitches in almost every app (but especially discord and steam) under Wayland is nice

Shame I can't play any games yet, I'll have to go back to -nvidia-nvidia flavour for now

I'm sure it's not a power issue; it could be that the kernel header of the LCD version is set to have 3500 MHz as the maximum limit. The OLED version with SteamOS doesn't have this limitation, but it appears when switching to Bazzite
