if you are planning to do vfio, i have had good luck with asus and asrock (especially asrock as they tend to provide the ACS override patch on a firmware level so no need for the kernel patch)
i would say asrock then (although there will most likely be more asus or msi boards out there, at least that is the case here when it comes to used market)
my friend has had 2 msi boards, on both boards there was a manufacturing issue with the 24pin plug so it would make the cable barely plugged in no matter what. a feather could loosen it and shut off your pc, or better yet cause a fire and they refused to aknowledge it
