Meaning I was on a -deck image. My PC always booted to gaming mode. I updated to the new release and now when I power it on it goes straight to desktop mode and won't enter the deck UI mode at all.

unfortunately seems to be the norm for bluetooth headset mode in any linux i've used (and sometimes windows, depending on configuration)

In the end had no luck with ventoy because of BS Lenovo legion uefi, rolled with fedora writer and all is well. Had no issues on a Thinkpad with kinoite

Ooop just realized why I wasn't upgradable to f40 on deck stable... I had manually rolled back after the April 6th kernel update borked my built in controller on the Loki Max. Just rebased stable.
