Eor you can try making a bazzite xfce or cinnamon
Ei use nvidia too and for some reason gnome is not giving me any headaches with wayland like i was having even with plasma 6, ill just stick to gnome till i feel like plasma is in a good place for me

Enever used budgie, maybe ill try it out on a VM to see how it works
