the registry with the image is not public and requires a login i would guess? its not an error about not having permission on your system

I ended up redoing my setup. I have a single nvme ssd 2tb install for bazzite now

there is both rootful and rootless. rootful is easier for figureing things out and you can move to a rootless configuration. rootless podman is excellent for quick testing

try see if podman pull linuxserver/sabnzbdpodman pull linuxserver/sabnzbd works since it worked on my end

yes i have it pulled, but my problem is the puid and guid, where do i put those into podman? i have no options, just to run the container and pass the ports so i can get into it

those are environment variables and should just match your UID and GID (usually 1000)

the error youre getting seems more to be docker.io denying your request to get the image for whatever reason
