One of the main reasons I am on bazzite is that it ships non-flatpak steam in the base image. There's a known performance issue with flatpak steam (https://github.com/flatpak/flatpak/issues/4187) and having a regular package makes it a lot easier to use mod managers
If you play games under any capacity then Bazzite will make your life much easier. It's not like Bazzite is incapable of being used as a regular desktop (in fact, it's excellent as a general purpose desktop too)
Hmm, bluefin hilariously seems a bit TOO dev focused for me. I just do my silly little computer things sometimes, my desktop is primarily a leisure machine
Really it's like, all I need is a solid base which can run my games and other things (and also that lets me lay the xwayland fractional scaling respecting copr patch on top of it so xwayland windows properly obey my 2x wayland scaling and don't look like anus)
