FGnome2 is okay.
GIt's kinda hard not to like it when it's as polished as it is
AI mean, sure it takes a little longer to get features than KDE does but I find when it does get those features they're often significantly more polished

WWhen I used gnome I found that I used 5-6 extensions to make it look and work like kde.... So in the end I just switched to KDE 
Athat's by far the main appeal for me. GNOME is just so goddamn polished. Yes features take a bit longer to get to it but it's one of those things where it's like "I know that when a feature DOES come to GNOME that it's going to be polished and it's going to just WORK"

GThose few extensions are worth it for me to use gnome. They're a built in feature for the environment so I might as well use them

VHonestly the thing I respect about GNOME is how it looks because with a few tweaks it does look REALLY good. But like, so does KDE so

AGNOME's visual consistency is unparalleled in Linux DE's tbh
GKDE Plasma has gotten a lot better and I consider it very good looking and polished too. No, my main issue is I much prefer GTK apps to Qt, and GNOME has a much more consistent visual design with its apps
