Kany way to force Bazzite to not use this wallpaper in the login screen?
Kthis is before I did the log in, I just turned ON my device
Kwhen I log out it respects the wallpaper that I choose
Vokay wait, now i'm confused and have to check what i did wrong. it worked. then i rebooted. and now it hasn't worked again.
Shi Everyone, i am using bazzite on mac pro, everything works except for headphones don;t produce sound, i can see them switch from speaker to headphone , but no sound, can someone please point me to a document to help fix this.
BI adjusted it in the Login Screen (SDDM) settings. It prompted me for my password after changing it

Vthat's because sddm's settings are in the immutable section of the file system
Vif you don't copy and rbind them to a mutable directory in /var you can't change them
DSddm config is located at /usr which is kinda dumb tbh
Vthe above fedoraproject linked hacky way works. i've done it myself. do note that your copied folder doesn't pick up any updates to the /usr folder though so you want to manually re-copy when sddm gets updated
Vand yes, having the config in /usr does feel pretty dumb but maybe they have a reason for it?
A@Kyle Gospo have reported the issue on the gnome gitlab. They may be potentially looking at a different approach for this kind of fractional scaling in future anyway so god knows how relevant it may be but worth reporting

Aagain, not sure if they're going to even use this method for stable and if not then I may try and figure out what the heckers is going on myself to try and make it more stable so it can be plonked in as some sort of stop gap for folks like myself
