Mhonestly I rarely use my Ally since getting an OLED Deck. For traveling I really love it plus the battery life is silly compared to traveling with the Ally
Cthe display on that is VRR but I haven't really noticed a difference or maybe I'm just blind

Coriginally I was gonna give my brother my deck but the ally proved such a shit experience that I kept hold of it
MI got it an Ally at launch for similar reasons, I was trying the legion go for a bit and then they announced the OLED deck. Once I tried that the Go went back in the box immediately.
Caside from it's display, there's no benefits to me
CI don't play Valorant or Fortnite and I ran it like 720p/900p 12-15W to not destroy battery immediately
MI own an original deck too and the OLED is leaps and bounds above it in hardware quality tbh. If only it wasn’t such a pain in the ass to get running

MDeck hardware is set up to run as close to valve’s config as possible so yeah it should be fine. I check my LCD Deck when testing stuff for Nobara from time to time and support for that has always been solid in our kernels and packages we use

Myeah I think bazzite has one with a custom gnome Steam customization package. I tried it once awhile ago but hated the gnome issues I ran into.
