as much as I love GNOME it just has a few too many annoying bits in there when it comes to specifically gaming on my specific setup with my fractional scaling and all that which drive me a tad insane and I need those to be more stable before I can really do all my gaming on it rip. GNOME is still going to be my productivity default though so my lappy will continue to run GNOME
It varies. I had the issue somewhat off and on, but I have been able to consistently use Wayland for the last 6+ months with a GTX 1660 Ti, at the cost of sometimes rolling back or waiting for patches. Kernel updates tend to break experimental patches. I have had dramatically better performance on Wayland since I switched to it full-time
Anyone have a good workaround for switching displays from gaming mode? I have a weird use case where my PC is connected to both TV and monitor and would prefer to not have to unplug/replug cables.
Has anyone tried running virtualhere usb client? It wants me to create a symlink with /usr/lib64/libcurl.so.4 and usr/lib64/libcurl-gnutls.so.4, but It's read-only.
Weird, ever since I went to Bazzite 40, my framework 16 with the GPU module has been acting strange. I can browse chrome and do little things but they cause strange graphical lines on the edges of my screen. On top of that, when I launched Abiotic Factor and joined a server it brings my PC to a screeching halt. Basically making it unusable.
