Hi guys, I'm a total noob on linux. But managed my way to this distro, even on a dualboot install on my pc with the deck.iso version. Now I'm stuck on this waydroid install.
The newest Gamepad UI has removed the ability to tweak refresh rate on a per-game profile basis (at least on Bazzite with a desktop PC) while it's still working fine on a SteamOS+Steam Deck connected to external displays, and I'm hoping maybe there might be a way around this
that wouldn't be bad but that sounds like it's not too different from the current workaround I've got (using mangohud variables) and I'm hoping for something that's a little more on-the-fly tweakable
What I'm hoping for (assuming this settings issue with Gamepad UI never gets fixed) is some sort of quick menu where I could adjust frame rate limits or refresh rate on the fly like we could basically always do before
Ehhhh that might not be possible in the current state. If they patched it out there's probably a reason for that. You could always TRY and roll back the version?
I'm on beta channel and in gamescope session usually there's a timeout and it resets the mouse to the bottom right corner which is really fucking annoying. Whatever update they did changed that so I'm not constantly moving my mouse around.
@Kyle Gospo question, do the ublue staging repos have the xwayland fractional scaling patch applied or was that yoinked? I noticed the older repo I was using isn't properly autobuilding for new mutter changes on the main branch etc then applying the patch so I was wondering if ublue staging has it or if I should maybe just make a fresh copr repo lmao
