AThere's no risk to using bazzite as it's in the fedora atomic ecosystem
Hbest way to help the project is donating time and help out where you can (be it documentation both new and old, help triaging issues on github by helping people solve issues or by contributing code somewhere in the project, translation, etc)

Hmy main pc has an amdgpu and i use an nvidia card in VMs for testing with sunshine as the display output
