WYes - the voltage range is 0-3.3V
Mthen its ok, now brakes works with arduino, so i will use them on vpforce
SWe have a detent system now? Did I miss a firmware update?

SPersonally, I went with as much weight reduction as possible, which was the RealSim grip because it also saved me the weight and length of the WW adapter + the angle adapter for the F16 grip.
SBut this is for a side-stick optimised configuration
BAye the RS grips sounds sweet, still €500 for juat the home version.
Kinda of funny its the lightest as its also built to handle significant force for the force sensing bases.
Virpil and tm grips have been known to snap off those after some use.

MThere's also Tianhang, 350g
MI've never seen a report of a Virpil snapping on those (they aren't even officially supported in the firmware), but the TM part that snaps isn't the grip, it's the potmetal neck of the connector
FIts supposed to be a sysyem for ffb shifters
FBut if we can modify the profile, it shouldnt be too hard to make it capable of liftable detents

Syeah it really is. unfortunately that also translates as a feeling of rather hollow plastic, compared to any other choice in the top range.
JI've not used anything else so far
Aplastic is fine really, I just really don't like the feel of the VKB plastics (only tried their basic stick though, can't remember the name)
AVirpil plastic (mongoos cm2) had a nicer feel to it, but I didn't like its buttons
JI upgraded from Thrustmaster HOTAS 4 to VKB MCGP to Rhino with VKB adapter
JI have had hands on an MCGU MK IV tho, and granted I didn't get any proper use on it, felt like it wasn't much different than MCGP. Main difference being the buttons themselves
JThough to be fair the room it was in was rather warm, so I couldn't really tell that it was metal
Ait's not true metal if you don't instantly hear manowar or rammstein when you touch the grip
JGave me more Sabaton vibes, maybe that was the problem

LIf you fly aggressively enough, it doesn't matter what grip material is 
LSaying that I stopped with the plastic MCG Pro because it is light.
BReal simmers beat their own diy sticks out of cast iron skillets

BI'm surprised the TMW F/A-18 grip isn't mentioned much here. I have both it and the TMW Warthog grip. I've had the Virpil Alpha and Alpha Prime in the past, but as I've said before "somewhere" I don't like Virpil's buttons and especially their hats. And I do like the additional heft of the TMW stuff.
The Warthog grip is at least 12 years old and has seen a lot of use with zero problems. But then, I'm not a yank and bank guy -- I fly mostly helicopters.
I have a real 1960's-ish era real jet grip, and the TMWs are much closer to the heft and button/hat feel of the real deal.

AA number of people I've seen prefer the tianhang over the realism in many ways
Sit is interesting, I don't have tons of experience with real aircraft, but based on the little I have seen, the TM hats feel the closest to what was in the aircraft
Scan't speak to the actual F-16, etc. grips, but like a GA trim hat was very very close to what you get in the TM
Sit's just not worth the weight imo, for the flight sim application
Splus having more tactile switches is nice
SI was surprised though, the real trim hats were pretty mushy and pretty heavy
SI'm sure it varies a bit in aircraft as well, that was just my takeaway

Athe situation could fluctuate according to availability and other such issues of course, but to my knowledge the kits are basically just available and you only need to wait if you want the ready-to-go Rhino
