I'm surprised the TMW F/A-18 grip isn't mentioned much here. I have both it and the TMW Warthog grip. I've had the Virpil Alpha and Alpha Prime in the past, but as I've said before "somewhere" I don't like Virpil's buttons and especially their hats. And I do like the additional heft of the TMW stuff.
The Warthog grip is at least 12 years old and has seen a lot of use with zero problems. But then, I'm not a yank and bank guy -- I fly mostly helicopters.
I have a real 1960's-ish era real jet grip, and the TMWs are much closer to the heft and button/hat feel of the real deal.
