Hey DevHeads, we want your feedback on the server structure. Can you cast your vote by thumbs upping or thumbs downing the proposal in the #announcements channel by Sunday, 5/19 at 15:00 GMT?
I am currently working on a side project, where I images and text via nfc and display it on E-paper display. I am currently using arduino and pervasive epaper display. But I am not able to display png images. What image format should i use to transfer images via nfc?
Hi Devs, I want to share with you my experiment today, so my friend wanted to print a pcb with the fastes way possible, with high quality, and we didn't want to use Ink and iron method, so I came up with thus idea, to cut adhesive warp with plotter machine and remove the excess then apply it to copper board then pure the solution... And this was the result, what do you think about it

I am currently an MTech student specializing in VLSI and Embedded Systems. I'm here to learn, collaborate on projects, and connect with professionals in the field. I'm eager to expand my knowledge and skills, and I look forward to contributing to and learning from this community.
Currently, our VLSI curriculum does not include AI and ML. However, I am very interested in learning more about these areas. If you have any resources or information on AI and ML, I would love to explore them to enhance my understanding and skills.
Interesting. My background is covering the embedded and IOT spaces so not a ton of experience in chip design but must say I’m surprised there aren’t at least a couple courses starting to introduce those concepts yet. @Navadeep wrote a blog a couple months ago about hardware design with AI/ML tools, and while that was at the PCB level it may include some foundational concepts that would be beneficial. I’ll see if I can find it in the morning (I’m in US).
yeah but how much it can affect for example , the range of esp32 c3 dev board with pcb antenna gives 100m of range in an open field ( more than generic rf modules ) . IF we were able to fit high end external antenna to esp32c3 ( custom board ) and used it in a industrial setting , how much range we can get , on an approx like any estimates you can give ?
That’s really difficult to answer without knowing more about the environment. The problem is interference (EMI, physical obstructions, etc) in the environment.
In addition to interference, how crowded is the spectrum, etc. There is a reason there are all sorts of specialized protocols and technologies for industrial environments.
What sort of data are you looking to send? Check out some of the 802.15.4 options like Wireless HART and Zigbee. @accur4te
the data is sensor reading (rs485) . I was looking forward to send readings of the multiple sensors to a single gateway using espnow and then upload it to the cloud from the gateway @techielew
Humm , MITapp devloper for a beginner and more basic application, flutter more advanced and pro application, Android studio if you want native development... (That my personal choice)

Welcome Prayash, and thanks for checking out Engineering Hour today. Happy to have you. Let us know what you're working on and if there's anything you need an assist with!
In short In 2023, OEM time to market for connected products—from project kick-off to the first paying customer—averaged 41 months, an 80% climb since 2020, according to the 206-page IoT
