missing chunks, send pics of settings?
Its more like the caves load in before the surface blocks
only when loading new chunks I believe

oh, try setting the "Cave culling height" higher
i have mine at max building height bc i dont want to see caves
at least, thats how i was told the setting works
hmm I think theres a correlation there and I might need to find the sweet spot
lmk what you find, id love to learn how the setting functions for sure
