Ti used nvidia on linux until 2022 and was fine (obviously on X11)
Mthe wayland session worked just fine

Tactually i had a similar thing but i thought it was due to my dying SSD

Ti didnt even attempt wayland when i was nvidia back then
Ti also only used linux distros that were X11 only
MI mean that's the default gnome session
5I had an optimus laptop and was just like, fuck this lol
5I sold it cause it was too much trouble on Linux
MI mean my laptop's ssd is apparently dying, but that's not really the cause of that
MSince the wayland session worked
MAlso my laptop doesn’t notify me of the ssd failing SMART, but my desktop does
