Ok, looping back in over here; experienced a system lock once again, was able to capture VIA SSH, but the only message I got was:

Which seems to have likely generated due to heavy system load, and might not be responsible for the crash itself?

Right and if something isnt right in the override conf that was created, you can revert by simply deleting that conf file

ok so can you confirm that its the same if it happens again next time?
also i saw you have an nvidia card, can you confirm in system settings that you are in the X11 session (as that is the most stable for nvidia users atm until new driver lands)

Some more info, fwiw - I had this also occour on Wayland, and also initially thought it to be a GNOME/Mutter issue, as it was happening (Seemingly more frequently) there, but moved to Plasma 6 on a fresh install, and still occouring

the perf message has to do with cpu frequency scaling, might not be what actually causes the issue though

well i have no VR stuff so i cannot do any testing, so if you give me a 100% reliable way to put it on bazzite i can make an ujust for it whenever i have the time to sit down with it.
