I'm getting sick and tired of the nvidia flicker. I'm starting to think of ways I'll probably break my system bypassing the proper install systems to try and get the 555 driver working

if you use the intellij toolbox it should pull in any dev dependencies you need

The Fedora repos have all the relevant OpenJDK versions pretty much

Also for Minecraft you should try out Prism Launcher. It's far superior to the vanilla launcher and actually bundles different Java versions that work with the game

@Kyle Gospo Not sure if you saw my suggestion earlier, but I'd recommend bundling ibus-mozcibus-mozc to have Japanese input on GNOME builds (fcitx5-mozc for KDE like you've already included). GNOME uses ibus whereas KDE uses fcitx5. I currently have that package layered and it works well
