Is this a 7800XT problem, or is it maby related to his specific setup?

But maby Nvidia is just better for him, because of all the creative stuff. Like davinci

Ya I was thinking maybe have my early emulator systems on the micro sd, my mid range games on the shared partition on the ssd, partition just for bazzite, and then partition with windows and most important games/most important files

keep in mind most of your downloaded steam games are going to be windows copies anyway

I can't think of any part of DaVinci that's not fully supported on AMD

Just grab a drive you can comfortably afford and that benchmarks well (always check reviews)

So in my example case it would make sense to put those steam games on the shared btrfs partition you’re saying instead of having them on the main ntfs windows 11 partition?

it might trip out if you have linux native games from the library loaded in windows but it wont be a big deal

Ok cool so basically any games that I can easily download off steam I should keep on the shared btrfs partition, any old school games that run on a potato I can keep on a shared btrfs microsd card, and then my os and most important files/games I can’t redownload on steam can go on the windows 11 partition
