yep you just put something like pop os on a usb drive, boot it and open gparted (i know pop os has gparted pre installed) and do the resize

Okay so to confirm (im very monkey with this things but i wanna learn) i put pop OS on a flashdrive, it Will have gparted, then i boot into the pop OS live session and use gparted from the pop OS live session, and there i make the changes, correct?

it is, but you need to make sure you didnt shut down with fast boot enabled or whatever its called

resize windows first, if it fails then fast startup was most likely enabled and you will have to go to windows power settings to turn it off

I actually have an SSD partition with gparted live so I don’t have to use an actual USB all the time for that.

from what i remember it sometimes misses the filesystem support you need, i remember last time used it, it missed either ntfs or something
