NI recently lost the unique bazzite startup (completely disappeared from the settings) and also lost my ability to adjust the screen resolution/refresh rate on my install, currently on bazzite-ally-gnome-20240603, any clue on what might be wrong?

RSo, all this time I've had bazzite installed on an old sata ssd, and I've been thinking of moving it over to new larger nvme ssd. However I'm not sure what's the best way to go about this. I doubt I can just dd copy the partition over and expect it to function well. Perhaps a fresh install and then rsync the var directory over?

GYou'll need to create a bootable ISO for it though and then do it from the boot menu.
None of the issues you'll probably run into is mismatching partition UUID which you need to modify for GRUB to boot again, at least that is the case for non-atomic Fedora
