Someone else might know more exact details but in essence a fetch request goes through the normal cdn request pipeline

If it's same-zone (worker running on same website as the one its fetching) then it skips some things like Workers, not sure on exactly everything it skips
If it's not same zone it's full request pipeline

I raised this discrepancy to the team so it can be fixed. The $0.30/mo on the docs is correct, the 0.15 comes from back when unbound usage model charged for cpu usage as well and you can see the blog linked above for a detailed explanation of what changed

Where do you want requests not including /v1 or /v2 to go?

But for anything path based, Routes are the answer. You can either layer one on top of a Custom Domain, have nothing underneath (dummy aaaa record 100::100::) or put an origin underneath if you want/need

No, KV is eventually consistent and writing will not revalidate anything. Don't set your TTL too high if you plan to overwrite the value later, because it can stay stale for a long time up to your ttl depending on traffic patterns

I don't know 1 for sure because I've not tested it in a while. If you have Snippets access I would suggest just trying it and seeing what happens.

2: It is CPU time but CPU time does not include fetch time so you won't have any issues if all your script is doing is fetching. CPU time is any actual compute logic in the script, like if you needed to encode/decode the json.

3: It's the size of the code in the script.
