GI did have a weird issue last night on Bazzite, I was watching series, the screen would go off and by no means other than a reset I'd get my screen back.

Myou rebase like normal but choose a -gnome image name

Wyou could just rebase to the KDE edition but things can go wrong with your user /home and you /etc config files if you do that.... but typically it's fine. KDE and Gnome edition also has other flatpaks so you'd need to run
ujust _install-system-flatpaks

Ait's fine, I like gnome but the window switching can be bizarre at times for me during gaming (and seems to make my FFXIV crash sometimes), so I wanted to check out with kde, however kde has way too many customizations and becomes a tad overwhelming for me
WI also felt that way with KDE but it grows on you after a while. There are some good gnome extensions that make gnome way better. I'm looking forward to Bazzite Budgie it looks like it's a good middle ground.
Ayes I'd love to try budgie, definitely feels the kind of DE that would stick with me the longest
Ain a way I also enjoyed cinnamon when I was trying out Mint, it has enough customization to satisfy my needs
Akde however has like, an option for every single thing visible feels that too much for my brain lol
WI pretty much went with the Bazzite default and left it alone lol
AI noticed bazzite doesn't offer live usb (at least I couldn't figure it out), so I went kde first, then switched to gnome
Abut hoping budgie comes out soon cuz I'd love to check that one out

WYeah unfortunately all atomic desktops don't offer a live usb mode. Not sure if that is on the cards
WIt's not an option yet for Bazzite so you can't really unless you install Fedora Budgie Atomic edition somewhere
