Origin Cache Control is a Cloudflare feature. When enabled on an Enterprise customer’s website, it indicates that Cloudflare should strictly respect Cache-Control directives received from the origin server. Free, Pro and Business customers have this feature enabled by default.

that's not good though that you could disable it before even on free plan via page rules but not in the new cache rules, no functionality should be lost, hmm

one makes logical sense/is semi-frequent/required in some places for compliance, and the other is a bad idea
Edit: maybe less of a bad idea if you add exclusions to it/scope it to something in specific, but that'd require a waf rule anyway

http/1.1 is used for all plaintext requests (http -> https upgrades), and a ton of APIs/applications. Cf's own health checks and lb health checks is http/1.1 still

Yeah TLS is much more commonly done. Blocking older HTTP is really only done for attacks and should be short-term

Hi, I think Round Robin DNS on proxied records is not working correctly. Only one server is receiving traffic, even if I manually resolve to each server returned by nslookup.

It'd be unaffordable for the use case (map tiles). Currently I cannot find anything related to Load Balancing on the Pricing page, but last time I checked it'd be absolutely unaffordable, as there are hundreds of millions of tiny files.

OK, I found it: "The first 500,000 queries, shared across all Load Balancers in your account, are free. Additional usage beyond that is charged at 50 cents per 500,000 requests per enabled hostname and billed at the end of each month."

No, these are just static files. What are snippets? Workers are also really expensive when talking about hundreds of millions of tiny files.

In the meanwhile I've tested it in production and the origin servers get close to 50-50% of the traffic. So I think Cloudflare is actually doing sticky sessions behind the scenes, even for a non Load Balanced Round Robin DNS setup.

It's just that each client gets routed to a single origin, so kind of impossible to test it from a single client.

I added a custom domain to a pages deployment on a fresh cloudflare account. But the custom domain is absolutely not availible. Trace tells me that a 200 is returned and all my rules are correctly applied. What could I be doing wrong?
