KBoth lutris and heroic have the option to add the shortcut to Steam for you
KDo that, then restart steam
KThen never open either of those applications ever again unless you need to install a new game
Hsteam --> controller --> desktop layout/non-steam layout

Hmeans you cant navigate the desktop with a controller but i dont need that
