WFor me Windows 10 boots in 26 seconds and Bazzite boots in 58 seconds. But it's an unfair comparison as Windows is on NVME and Bazzite is on SSD. But I don't actually watch it boot so yeah, it really doesn't matter

OI have a couple of average users in my family, and they just don't have anything to do on their machines that waiting a few more seconds would interfere with. Boot times are under a minute in all cases so it's not something they think about.
Mit’s okay if you literally never want to leave bazzite, otherwise messing with secure boot means you have to use steamos’ recovery image no matter what afterward with secure boot stuff
WI grew up with 5+ minute boot times so anything under a minute is amazing lol
OWe've come so far from the old days when you could turn the computer on, then read the next chapter in a book by the time it's actually ready to use
RI think with modern computers: 30 seconds is expected and if it goes above 2 minutes it's taking too long
ZI had a 3200 RPM disk until 2016 I'm glad it boots at all
RWe're not using mechanical hard drives anymore, shouldn't be taking over 2 minutes to boot anymore
