Rwhen vrr is enabled, and vsync is disabled in game, the monitor will syncronize it's refreshrate with the fps of the game (more or less)
SSo the frame limit options don't change at all and are still based on 60hz
Rframe rate limit just puts a maximum on the possible refresh rate. as long you have vsync disabled, you can still have vrr
Rthe point behind manually setting it at a lower rate is for better battery life or stability
SDamn doom 2016 feels a lot better above 60hz

TThe new system update 40-stable-20240618 recognizes the Xbox One controller as an Xbox 360 controller. I rolled back to version 40-stable-20240616, which fixed the issue. Will there be a fix in future versions?

Hthe glyphs in games are 100% controlled by the games and what controller they detect, if they swap between PS and xbox glyphs it means they might be detecting 2 controllers for some reason
Hcheck the steam controller section in steam and see if it sees 2 controllers

RA custom pipewire.conf i modified from /usr/share and put in /etc/pipewire. It made Bazzite unbootable. I booted into my Arch Linux partition and managed to jump through the right directory, found the file, deleted it.
RIt fixed Bazzite.....sorta. it broke it in a different way by making the OS boot as fast as if it was installed on a conventional hard drive. It's on an SSD.

WDid you come right? It's sometimes easier to just switch to an older image in grub, then your pipewire.config change should be undone without needing to do anything special
RI uhhh.... Didn't do that. I just went into Rescuezilla and restored an image I made.... yesterday. I'll keep that in mind next time I make my Linux install go boom.
