KI use the ESP32 Wroom module in developing my project, when the program code is run the gas sensor that I use always gives the output "MQ135Status: 0". I don't think there is anything wrong with my code, is this related to the esp32 module that I use?
Aas per the error code , there is problem sensor reading or communication - check wiring , lib use , or trying giving 5v vcc if it supports and do use a analog pin for sensor data .

KWhen I used the simple code, I was able to read the sensor value, but when I used the code you gave me, there was no output anymore.

AHey everyone, I need some advice. My dad, who's a businessman in the flowmeter industry, thinks the two projects I've been working on for the past 3 months are big steps and that I'm trying to skip some steps. The projects are an ESP mesh for flowmeters and an electromagnetic flowmeter. I agree with him to some extent.
I'll be joining my second year in ECE college in the next few days. What do you think my next step should be? Should I try to get an internship in a business related to IoT (my field of interest), or should I focus on learning more theory? I already have 7+ years of experience with electronics (mainly Arduino, ESP, and Raspberry Pi) and recently finished learning Embedded C. I genuinely need help deciding. I'm really passionate about electronics, especially IoT. Thanks!

JHow can we strike a balance between security and performance in IoT devices, especially low-power ones, to ensure robust protection without compromising efficiency, potentially through the use of lightweight encryption and future blockchain-based technologies? @MCU, MPU & Firmware @PCB & Analog
ZThis is an insanely loaded question but since you are already leading with lightweight encryption can you give us some sort of example?
JUsing lightweight cryptography and running it at the device level, that's able to perform some system computation at the edge
ZBut to what end? how much of your time are you running cryptography when you could be working. Would I use this in antilock brakes? I need security but I need timeliness more.
MBy doing risk analysis and threat modeling. You would start by looking at the value of the asset you are wanting to protect (hardware, functionality, IP, etc) and then working out the balance from the threats and the cost of protecting them.
For example, I only used AES128 on one of my low powered devices because the data it is protecting only has value for a short period of time, so the lower security is deemed ‘good enough’.
If the data was more valuable, then I would have had to use a more powerful device to enable stronger encryption.

JOo. What other encryption level is higher than the AES
MAES 192 and 256. These have longer keys and more rounds of processing (and therefore takes more computational effort to create).

Ayeah i could do both , but my dad can arrange a part-time internship in core embedded system company but not in IOT industry ( that's the main issue )

ZIf you can work in a core embedded environment that would be heavily beneficial. Once you grok that process well you can add connectivity and you have IOT
