SWill test this -- I'm pretty much using base fedora in regards to games so there's probably plenty of room for improvement
KBazzite comes with everything you need, so it made me catch up on some linux gaming tools I missed heforehand

Wso bazzite has udev rules for steam, does that mean steam is not running as a flatpak

Hsteam is installed on the system, gamemode session need it on the system (flatpak and container doesnt work with it), nvidia need it to not be a container (flatpak doesnt work)

RWhy do some flatpacks not run under wayland in bazzite? For example, on my desktop with arch, chrome and obsidian work fine under wayland if you specify this in flatseal, but its won’t start in bazzite.
Rrpm version of chrome also does not run under wayland in bazzite

Nupdates happen automagically right? when do they typically run?

Marr not sure on specifics sorry. I just hit "system update" when I need them but I believe sm1 told me once that on desktop they are automatic
CIt checks when it detects you're not doing anything intensive
