Hi cant say much since i recently got mine for testing, but from what i heard they have been updating with the speed of snail
Myes despite me not liking some ms stuff. I would not be using linux if the gaming had not improved to the extent it has

Gi have been dipping my toe into linux since the 90's, lol. i am getting closer to sticking with it. just need the nvidia wayland stuff to really make a go of it this time. there always seems to be something, but the flashing screens in wayland drive me nuts right now.
MI have been trying the testing branch or whatever
Mit has worked well. Still bugs but the flickering has stopped
MI can basically use it at this point wiht an unstable branch of bazzite and with the tree system I can go back
Mwhat I am saying is

Mmain issue I experienced is the logging in stuff and some black screen stuff. I have been using it all day and mostly fine. Once they sort all these kinks it be good cos everythign else I used been good

Mit would have been like a gimmick almost to me due to how useful it may have seemed whatever

Gi went a lot of years without looking at it at all, then get a whim and try about 5 different distros, find i am still booting back to windows for games, then tryagain in a year or 2
Meven now the troubleshooting is hard cos unlike windows there is barely any information from other users

Gneed to find out if modorganiser 2 works well, i still enjoy a modded game of skyrim and fallout 4 once and awhile
Myes I have avoided mods tbh

Mfor skyrim I have tried massive mod packs in the past that people make to try and make a new experience
Mfound that the focus was not the skyrim I enjoy when I put them all together
Mlike I would have to pick my own mods out

Mit just was a different vibe
ZI think it does given it uses its own virtual file system specific for windows to set mods. Vortex would work better as it has an option to simply copy the mods into the game folders.
CWere you trying out Slackware back in the day?
KTrust me when I say, if you throw mod organizer 2 in the garbage and mod those games by dragging and dropping files you'll have an easy life
ZBut if you manage to make mO2 work let me know
KNo Bethesda game has ever needed a mod manager
ZTechnically you can mount an overlayFS and dump the mods in the upper directory xD
ZLiterally what MO2 does
Lwindows resized, MC and steam installed, and the sc works instantly
Li will try to enjoy my vacation to windows as much as i can
GSlack. Red hat . Sometimes bsd. Some weird ones that don't exist anymore. Basically whatever was getting released and had some hype around it at the time. Os/2 was the best windows alternative and I miss it a lot lol.
GInstalling bazzite right now. So on my phone. Wiping a mostly working install of opensuse for it
