Vbazzite-arch isn't a distro, just a distrobox image with steam and lutris.
Vimmutable arch varients exist but I haven't tried one with a package manager as good as rpm-ostree

XXXI found that UserspaceHID was NOT active by default and the behavior is exactly what I have experienced for the last few months

XFor 3-5 months DS5 controllers across my 4 bazzite installs have had problems with 2nd connection. First works. If the controller times out it will not reconnect properly
