my desktop runs bazzite's plasma build but i do not have access to that to test and i actually don't have multiple monitors anyways

I had a similar issue on gnome x11 some time ago. The only way I could fix it was by writing an xrandr script to rearrange things properly, and run that script on startup. There might be a Wayland equivalent way to do that
