Vi use a yubikey myself. but yeah, there's no ability to have an on-screen keyboard for the password unlock for luks. they tried a project in the past, but it didn't pan out.
Lmy deal breaker was that they removed the feature of putting task bar to the top of the screen

VTPM Unlock is internal, but it skips the password prompt. so it's only good if the drive is removed from the Deck

VI thought the Deck didn't have TPM, which feels stupid saying out loud.
KIt's still encrypted at rest, it just means you're only secured by your password or lock screen

VDecky is a nice to have, firmware afaik is just for Deck. You will still get firmware stuff for your PC (if it supports in-OS updating)

KIf it's still in the device, your data is protected by the existence of the lock screen, it can only ever be as protected as that offers you
