KKDE 6.1 does have session restore on wayland
VSorry if im not understanding. But I dont use sleep/hibernate as I have those disabled. This is purely when I lock my PC but everything is still open and running while im away. What would session restore have to do with it?
KAh, just saying becaus KDE's default is to suspend, so if you changed it its not that
VYeah if I lock and unlock immediately everything is fine and desktop pops in immediately. But if I lock and afk for an unspecified amount of time (5 mins, 10 mins, 30 mins, I dunno how long it takes to happen). I unlock and the screen goes black for a few seconds before finally loading in, then I get spammed with notifications from my chats, and at one point my start/apps menu was completely blank and empty, no favorites and no categories, it wasnt until I manually searched for something that all the icons and folders/categories restored themselves

VWas gonna say lol, I dont think bottles is whats causing my issue. Was about to be even more confused
VI went ahead and defaulted my suspend/power settings and set them back up again in case something got borked during the update or the switch to wayland. Guess I will lock and let it sit overnight and see what happens in the morning

JWhat is the best way to install epic games store launcher? Lutris or wine? (I need to do it bc a game refuse to run on heroic)

JIt sends a shader compilation error, then I installed the egs on lutris and it works but I was thinking if bottles was a better place to install it
CIf Lutris works it works
CLutris vs Bottles is mostly down to personal preference
JThe game have some very slightly fps drops so I was not sure if I could get a better performance there

CI find toggling on feral gamemode can sometimes help with FPS issues, if it's not already

CI don't use Heroic so I don't know, but check if there's a setting to change the wine build used. That might help it run in Heroic
JYeah I tried like 4 wine and 4 proton, changed between using steam libs and other options on heroic but no luck
