Hello friend, I don't have this system but you'll find some pictures of my installation on a classic rig. As far as I know, the NLR system looks a bit like this (??).

In any case, I don't have any movement or flex.

Why wouldnt i? The full throw is to much and the default 50% (11°) on the throw limiter plate is to little so 75 is the happy medium for me

For me the original throw is perfect.

Then just elevate or mount it to a base somehow.

forces fly correct but trim force is wrong

If i swap axis in config then force is reverse but trim is correct

Yes lol. Turns out MSFS you have to unbind your axis and let trim do its thing. Sorry I am a real pilot doing this stuff and just hard to explain. Essentially the software and sim are conflicting on this stuff. Best way I can say it is if you fly and pull nose up trim (trim hat down… stick travels aft, nose goes up) the rhino moves fwd. anyway I kinda found a solution in the support

Currently it's about 190 days, but I guess with the other FFB options becoming available this waiting time will shrink.

It’s worth the wait. Not sure how the competition will stack up but either way the software and constant support from developers it’s the best purchase for dcs and flight simming since vr.

Fully agree Rhino is a game changer in flight simming VR was some years ago for me. Using it as cyclic for helicopters and won‘t flight without it anymore.

No, not saying that, I just like to have things to compare to. I can tell already the software is 100% what makes the Rhino amazing, just from what I've seen (someone demo'd the Rhino for me). Moza is still working on their own Telemetry FFB stuff so time will tell.

From what Ive got, it shouldnt take too long actually and thats with me being absolutely incapable of working with wires. Like absolutely nothing. I can tune triple webbers for you in like 3 tries but if it has a wire, my brain melts

I’d say most of us here are older Dads with a solid 40-50% of us being former and/or current pilots.

I’ve got two of my own and I know lots of the other guys do too so I get it for sure.

For what it’s worth once you assemble all the parts the Rhino build takes about 5hrs.

So it’s not a “weekend project” it’s basically an afternoon into evening project

It’s super straightforward and actually a lot easier than it looks so if you decide you’d rather not wait..

Try the DIY you’ll see it’s not so bad and as you know it’s a great feeling to DIY.
