Hey guys, I did just notice rpm-ostree put quite a lot of strain on my CPU and RAM, but for a relatively short time - about 5-10 minutes. What does it do - is it some sort of system maintenance, that activates from time to time, is it simular to Windows updates, checking regularly for critical updates?
No problem. I've grown to really like automatic updates from Bazzite. But only because of the easy roll-back functionality. Although I have yet to need it.
Yeah but the rest of the world doesn't and people keep forgetting to mention it to people who don't know the US layout. Which I forced myself to mostly remember
Just got notice of a vulnerability regression in OpenSSH. Versions of OpenSSH from 8.5p1 to 9.7p1 are impacted and susceptible to remote code execution.
Checked both my Kinoite systems and the Bazzite boxes and they are all running OpenSSH-9.6 so are impacted. Anyone know what the timeframe for a patched or newer version is expected to drop?
