HThe kit from @SR-FWinger[73]_David is complete. The only(!) thing missing is the motors and logic board which come as a kit from walmis, You don‘t need to source anything but the PSU
BYesh I just didn't have a space to do it, and my 3d printer is 'meh' at best so I just chilled in the cue.

HThe Rhino, DIY or pre-build is easily en par with commercial options (well, apart from the surface finish perhaps). What sets it apart is the software and support!
BOnce you have all the parts yeah, but also having to rub 3 years of dust off a printer, re tune it for two new materials, hunt for bearings, nuts and parts between mouser and alibaba.. I just waited.
Now though, if I could get a kitbash and motor kit, I definitely would have gone that way

HPrinting the parts yourself and sourcing all the hardware is definitely the critical part. That’s where the DIY-kit comes in handy.
TWe need a cheap option for the masses… sure the Rhink and others will be the big dogs but I want to see the small dogs fly again and I’m no hater to see it

T@SR-FWinger[73]_David is the guy with the kits a lot of folks are building and they seem like epic kits for sure it includes everything you need (so far as I’m aware they are complete kits)

The kit is like $400 and then the VPforce kit is like $350 so you save some but not enough imho to say you really “saved”

JYou should be critical, all these people pre-ordering due to FOMO are nuts (not even speaking from having used it... literally my thoughts before i got it). We live in a weird world where everyone trusts the first review they see, even if it doesn't actually explain anything and the reviewer is completely ignorant to what they are reviewing... FOMO makes people open their wallets and companies prey on it now, especially in gaming
NYes it's not really cheaper, the only savings I had was on taxes and brokerage fees

Nbut printing by self is not a viable solution either financially, unless one is already into 3d printing with a good printer

NCyclic = Control Stick. Yes, for X-Plane and MSFS, the TelemFFB app supports basic cyclic force trim as part of its FFB implementation (neither X-Plane or MSFS have native FFB, it is wholly implemented by TelemFFB).

H100% agreed. You can have proper force trim (- release) and everything. FFB for helicopters is an absolute game changer.
