Hey team, I have had someone on my YouTube channel ask a questions about cyclics, I am not running one as yet so wanted to get a true opinion for this chap. Please see communication chain below and if you can help me answer his question?
Cyclic = Control Stick. Yes, for X-Plane and MSFS, the TelemFFB app supports basic cyclic force trim as part of its FFB implementation (neither X-Plane or MSFS have native FFB, it is wholly implemented by TelemFFB).
Crew....thank you so much, I have posted this on the YouTube channel to help this chap understand how amazing the Rhino will be for Helo's as well. The chat is on this video if you want to chime in and add to anything. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Enw4UsZyKJM&t=119s
The day I have been dreaming of has finally arrived, the Rhino from VPForce has been delivered. Come with me as we open the box and see what we are dealing with.
Man i wanna fly so bad but having to rely on my old non ffb base until the replacement adapter arrives just drains me of all will to actually do it... PLZ DHL HURRY UP :Mikasapped:
I am also waiting and I would be happy to read some news here. But I unfortunately « only hear crickets » so far. I suppose I will one day just receive an email stating that my kit is ready to ship…
I never received a number like for the Rhino base. And whenever I ask the bot I only receive a reply to my order for the Rhino base. Not sure how Walmis is handling the pre orders for the Crosswind FFB kits…
The last update a few weeks ago from @walmis was that he intends to sell the MFG FFB rudder conversion kit and also release it as Open Source for DIY. No timeframe. Given it was announced in February with photos of a completed set, I’m not sure what the issue is. Hopefully the STL print files for the motor support and pulley can be released so some of us can get on with the conversion.
Thanks for the info! I missed that post from Walmis. I actually wanted to get the kit but I am keen to see how much work/ sourcing is needed for the open source DIY.
I ordered kits from German “EARLIER” than vpforce kits, it still lays on frankfurt airport DEFRAA. while vpforce kit “already arrived 3 days ago” haha. it doesn’t move at all. and I googled about it. found countless claims being late, from weeks to months. it really sucks because I decided do DIY because I don’t want to wait one month from moza ab9.
anyways, I am a kind of person very easily got stress from being waiting too long. because I cannot concentrate my work when I waiting something. I am a type of person who finish all quickly and have it done. and finally I can concentrate my work.
@walmis and walmis if u are not shipped my last order yet can I add one more pair of rhino kit? I meant 5703motor + usb kit. I planned to run 1 moza + 1 rhino but I changed my mind to run 2 rhinos because of this situation.
if it is already shipped it is okay. Sorry for bothering and Thanks in advance.
since I don’t know how long to wait weeks or months, there is no estimate arriving date at all. better do something I can do than just sit and wait. like waiting apple falling down under the tree better climb up.
If I can pay money to get rid of this awful stress I willing to.
3D print files, parts list and instructions to build a DIY version of the Rhino FFB Stick base using the VPForce motor kit - protomaker964/Rhino-FFB-Clone-3D_Printed
pics of a completed kit cam out as early as December. Word was waiting on motors to be available in April or May. And since then it seems like mostly radio silence
Apologies if this has already been asked. But is there any intention to produce a VPforce yoke.. Unfortunately I lack the time and skills to build something like that myself. Obviously there is the cls yoke, however I very much enjoy VPforce and telem FFB so ideally would like to keep everything VPforce!
