Gcool! I've been using Linux for about a month now, I've gone mint -> nobara -> bazzite, and I feel like I'm learning a huge amount about computing every day
Tvery nice! every distro has it's own way of working and its pretty cool learning those things

Gyeah. I hopped from Mint because I wanted newer Nvidia drivers, but all the other hopping has really just been as an excuse to learn more
Tjust stick to flatpaks or snaps cuz then it wont matter which distro you are at
GThere's been a fair bit of bouncing between kde and gnome on top of that
Goh between mint and nobara, for anyone keeping score, I tried arch via endeavourOS. It turned out that was NOT the correct life decision for me to take

GIt definitely mattered to jump from mint to something fedora based, but I agree that switching DEs has made more of a difference otherwise
Tur in the end using the same software! its mostly just the update cadence and package manager you use
GMint's nvidia drivers are very long in the tooth at this point, especially with a new GPU, so that was the big reason why it mattered

GAlthough I've already found the atomic distro model has been v beneficial, just in terms of setting up stuff like Sunshine which I wasn't able to get working myself on other distros
Gbecause someone more fluent in linux has basically set it up for me lol
Tjust make sure to read the scripts and what they are doing so that you can do other stuff whenever you need to

MAny distro that supports flatpak should make setting up sunshine easy, atomic or no
Gfor whatever reason, it never worked on Nobara, and works with no tinkering here

MI have been using Linux for over 25 years and at this point I am over using the terminal for everything, I appreciate it's existence, and utility, but sooo many people asking for help get advice to do something they can do in 2 clicks in the GUI in the terminal instead, and I just think that's unfriendly
