GConsidering this sounds like a prebuilt computer you bought and not one you built yourself, it's highly unlikely that you woulnd't be able to get internet access via ethernet. It's something Windows generic drivers should definitely be able to handle
GSo I really think there's something else wrong with your system, or your home network
