VNote it is not SteamVR native. Sony are using their own shim program.
KApparently PSVR2 isn't selling great, they probably have tons of units they want to move.
VI'd get one if it worked on Linux
KHonestly, in my experience, weirdly, Oculus Quest 2/3 works best on Linux
KValve Index supposedly has issues that ALVR does not.
K(I admit I've not TESTED an Index, but I've seen discussions of the problems)

KOh I use Armcord, not the offical Discord, that explains why I haven't seen any overlay.
KFor my kids I have a PIN they don't know on their Steam Deck, and they have to have me unlock it when they want to use their 'Game Time' on it.
KIt's hardly automated tho (obviously)

JWe used to do that for iPads and switch but looking to limit just games and YouTube since he uses it for school work too
VI don't know if it's because it's such a non demanding game but trying to run Inside at 4W on my LeGO seems to make absolutely no difference in terms of performance, which typically makes everything unplayable
