Jit is available for the oled, idk if its better since I only used in desktop and laptop, but its a more updated version as many steamos packages are frozen

CWell, it auto-reconnects and after failed attempts will try to connect to another server

VThe reason it says 256+ is because it doesn't work on the 64GB SSD. So long as your Steam Deck is anything other than that, it will work.

CAs for the downsides, updates are currently a large download because of a limitation with ostree(which manages updates) that's being worked on. They shouldn't take more disk space though because you only keep two system deployments by default.
