I'm a big fan of RC but I dislike the moves they have made lately (ex. moving production out of Canada). I still believe they have created excellent clothes and have continued to purchase with them.
I have multiple midweight Tees but lately I feel stuff has been going seriously downhill. They've been experimenting and one of the changes they've done is to the Coach's Pants.
The coach's pants as they were a great alternative the ABC pants from Lulu lemon with the added benefit of having zippers on the all the pockets and being water repellent. This is my go to travel pants and is fantastic in all aspects. I like it even though its not made in Canada.

They have made a new model of the Coach's Pants called Stretch Warp Coach's Pants.It seems to not use the primeflex 4 way stretch fabric, and is no longer repellent. Furthermore, production has been moved from Vietnam to Sri Lanka for what I imagine to be even further cost cutting. Has anyone bought a pair and how has it held out? Are there any features that were improved or removed?
Another example is the Ripstop Puffer Vest. This is very similar to the aritzia super puff vest for men's.

Both of which are made in vietnam and are quite similar in terms of style and fill power.
I do like one thing since the buyout is that they are experimenting with lifestyle clothes ex. button down shirts.
When you go on the website, it's clear the best selling items are all the original midweight clothes that made the brand famous.
I am quite concerned with the direction of the brand as they cheapen the quality of the products.
What are your thoughts on the brand? Have they made any improvements in any areas?
