I should have started there, but, until your domain is point the nameservers from those metunic.com.trmetunic.com.tr domains, to what Cloudflare gives you.
I make the assumption, once your domain registrar is publishing the name servers correctly (from above to what's listed in your Cloudflare account). At that point, then your setup should work.
I'm not sure then, maybe someone smarter than me can chime in. But, it doesn't look like Cloudflare is serving records for that domain. Best of luck to you!
The incoming email should be logged in your Email routing dashboard but, after routing it would be delivered to the gmail address you have in the desintation.
Email routing is inbound only. Any outbound replies will have the address of the mailbox that is replying. So if your destination mailbox is me@gmail.com; and you reply to any routed email from that mailbox, it will be from me@gmail.com
No, it is not normal. But, I think that's becuase Cloudflare isn't serving your domain. Whatever is happening is a result of whatever instructions/records you have setup being served by ns*.metunic.com.tr
It may break the SPF to have them with some DNS providers, - however, I just tested with Cloudflare, and it seems (right now, at least) like Cloudflare is stripping them away for you automatically.
However, strange that you say that it fail in Gmail, as Cloudflare automatically takes care of it (e.g. it doesn't export the double quotation on the public DNS side), so there should not be any issues, neither with Gmail, nor anyone else, in case you use Cloudflare DNS, as your screenshot is indicating.
Hello! I'm building an app that signs up for other services on behalf of my users with an anonymized address that is routed to a catch all email worker for processing. The problem is that some emails need to be forwarded to the user but that wouldn't work because you can only do that for verified addresses. Is there another way than sending the email yourself using a 3rd party api?
Hi, I'm new to cloudflare email routing and this discord, so apologies if this has been asked & answered before, but this particular situation is a bit tricky to search for amongst all the other types of more obvious failures people experience.
Has anyone ever noticed emails being successfully delivered via mail routing, but not showing up at all in the activity log? I have an example of a message that successfully arrived in my destination inbox (gmail), but does not show up in the cloudflare activity log.
I am confident that the email did actually get handled by cloudflare, because it has a cloudflare message id in the email headers, of the form:
Received: from HOST (IP) by cloudflare-email.net (unknown) id MESSAGEID for <EMAILADDRESS>; Mon, 22 Jul 2024 13:07:18 +0000
(I've replaced a couple details with ALLCAPS above).
As I'm writing this, it's about 01:10 on 23 July (UTC), so even if the activity log only shows that last 24h, it should still be displaying that message.
Iโm having an issue with DNS records in Cloudflare. It's been 48 hours since I updated my DNS records in Cloudflare. I still see it's not reflecting while i am doing DNS lookup.
Could anyone provide some guidance on what steps I should take next or if there's something I might be missing? Your help would be greatly appreciated!
It's hard to troubleshoot specifically without any real information. I'd confirm that your domain registar does have DNS Servers listed as your Cloudflare provided NS. Then, I'd wait 24-48 hours. And/or dig your domain against some public DNS provides like dig against 1.1.1.1 or 8.8.8.8 and see if you're noticing the updates. DNS changes are not instant and could take time to reflect the update you made.
Hi everyone I suddenly stopped receiving email notifications for contact form submissions on my website. How can I confirm if I have correct email dns settings
You can send an email about your Workerโs activity from your Worker to an email address verified on Email Routing. This is useful for when you want to โฆ
